SUMMERSTOCK full-day, performance curriculums: Creative Theatre (ages 11-16): June 26 to July 7, 2017 (no class July 3 or 4); Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Improvisation, modern acting and Shakespeare. Build creative skills, instincts and confidence.
Musical Theatre (ages 11-16): July 10 to 21, 2017; Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fun and focused study in voice, movement and acting for any musical theatre performance, be it audition or full production.
Summerstock Junior (ages 6-11): Two, separate, two-week sessions, July 24 to August 4 and August 7 to 18, 2017; Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A well-rounded curriculum featuring acting, improv and musical theatre.
Each session culminates in a performance showcase for family and friends. ACT NOW TO ACT OUT!
Now celebrating its 27th year, our SUMMER YOUTH THEATRE provides creative opportunities for up to 100 youth participants 4th grade to age 21 on-stage and behind-the-scenes. This summer’s production is "Pippin," with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson. (Check our website for audition and performance dates.)
Programs take place in a safe, professional environment and are designed to promote participation in the arts, develop more successful lives, build greater self-confidence and awareness, and introduce new friends with common interests!
